Signs You’re a Seer: Discernment, Prophetic Gifting & the End-Time Army

You’re Not Crazy — You’re a Seer. Here’s What God Is Calling You Into.

You felt it before you had words for it.

Sitting in a service that looked right on paper — good music, good lighting, a sermon that hit all the right beats — and something in your spirit just… didn’t settle. You weren’t being rebellious. You weren’t “too critical.” You were discerning. And nobody around you seemed to notice what you were noticing.

If that’s you, I want to say this plainly: you’re not broken, and you’re not alone. What you’ve been carrying has a name, and it has a purpose far bigger than the discomfort it’s caused you.

The Church Isn’t Asleep By Accident

Let’s be honest about something most pulpits won’t say out loud: a large portion of the modern church has drifted from real alignment with the Word and the Spirit. Programs have replaced presence. Performance has replaced power. Comfort has replaced conviction.

This isn’t a hit piece on the Church — the true Church, the Bride, is still alive and the gates of hell will not prevail against her. But a lot of what’s wearing the name “church” right now has settled for form without fire. And if you’ve sat in those rooms feeling like you were the only one who could tell the difference, that’s not pride talking. That’s the Holy Spirit in you, doing exactly what He was sent to do.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
— Revelation 2:7

That verse wasn’t written once and forgotten. It’s still being spoken — and some of you have ears tuned to hear it in a way the room around you doesn’t.

Signs You May Be a Seer or Carry Prophetic Gifting

A seer doesn’t just hear from God — they perceive. Dreams, visions, discernment of spirits, an unshakable knowing about people or situations before anything is said out loud. If several of these describe you, pay attention:

  • You sense when something is “off” spiritually in a room, a relationship, or a gathering — even when everything looks fine on the surface.
  • You have vivid, recurring, or symbolic dreams that feel like more than your subconscious processing the day.
  • You know things about people or situations you have no natural way of knowing.
  • You feel a deep grief or burden for the state of the Church that others around you don’t seem to carry.
  • You’ve been called “too intense,” “too sensitive,” or “too much” by people who weren’t operating in the same depth.
  • You crave real encounter with God’s presence — not just information about Him.

None of this makes you better than anyone else in the room. It makes you responsible for what you’ve been shown. Scripture is clear that to whom much is given, much is required.

Discernment Is Not Division

One of the enemy’s favorite tricks is convincing seers and discerning people that noticing deception makes them divisive, unloving, or “too much.” It doesn’t.

“Test the spirits, whether they are of God.”
— 1 John 4:1

Discernment isn’t about pointing fingers from a place of pride. It’s a gift given so the Body of Christ doesn’t keep walking into traps it could have seen coming. If you’ve been made to feel guilty for discerning correctly, that guilt isn’t from God — it’s resistance from a system that doesn’t want to be seen clearly.

Raised Up for an End-Time Army

Here’s what’s actually happening underneath all of this: God is not just comforting individuals who feel out of place. He is gathering and training a generation — seers, prophets, intercessors, and people of real discernment — and forming them into something the Bible calls an army.

“A great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like… and the LORD shall utter his voice before his army.”
— Joel 2:2,11

This isn’t a metaphor for “be a little more committed at church.” It’s a literal shift — from passive attendance to active formation. From sitting in a pew to carrying fire. From being deceived by a watered-down version of Christianity to walking in the authority that comes from real relationship with the Holy Spirit.

If you’ve felt restless, like you were made for more than what your current spiritual environment offers — that restlessness is not a flaw to fix. It’s a calling to answer.

Healing and Restoration Come Before the Sending

Before anyone is sent out, they have to be made whole. A lot of seers and prophetic people carry wounds from environments that didn’t know what to do with their gift — rejection, isolation, being labeled “weird” or “unstable” instead of being trained and covered.

That wound has to be healed before the gift can be fully released. God isn’t in a rush to send broken vessels into warfare. He restores first, then commissions. If you’re in a season that feels more like healing than ministry right now, that’s not a delay — that’s the foundation being laid.

You Were Never Meant to Carry This Alone

This is exactly why Lionheart Generation Ministries exists — to train and equip the prophetic, seer generation, gather them into real community, and raise up the end-time army God is calling forth. Not in a building program. Not in another performance-driven service. House by house, through what we call Fire Houses — small gatherings where real encounter, real prophetic ministry, and real discernment are cultivated and multiplied.

If everything you just read stirred something in you, that stirring is not a coincidence.

Want to talk it through first, ask questions, or find out if there’s a Fire House near you?
Reach out to us directly — we’d love to hear what God has been showing you.

Jesus lives, and He is gathering His army.
You were never meant to sit deceived in a system that’s lost its fire.
Come carry it with us.
